Travel insurance & invitations

Schengen-compliant insurance, invitation letters, formal obligation § 68 AufenthG.
Insurance
Mandatory for Schengen visas: cover of at least €30,000, valid in all Schengen states for the whole duration, incl. repatriation. We arrange policies from German insurers (from about €1/day), including incoming insurance for guests up to 5 years (parents, long-stay visitors) accepted by embassies. Recommended but not mandatory for UK, USA, Canada, Australia; mandatory health insurance for study (OSHC, IHS, GKV).
Invitation and formal obligation
For visits by parents, relatives or friends to Germany: informal invitation letter with a copy of your residence permit; if the guest lacks proof of funds, the formal obligation (§ 68 AufenthG) at your immigration office (€29 fee, appointment, last 3 months' income, lease; liability for 5 years for all costs). We calculate in advance whether your income suffices and complete everything.
